Esgair Hir is situated towards the eastern boundary of Ceredigion, some 9 miles inland from the market town of Tregaron. 8 miles or so from Abergwesyn and just north of Llyn Brianne reservoir. The Cambrian mountains are a barren and sparsely populated wilderness often referred to as the 'Desert of Wales' known in welsh as 'Elenydd' or 'Mynyddoedd Cambria'.

The market town of Tregaron provides for a good range of amenities and the A483 8 miles to the east provides access to Llandovery, Builth Wells and beyond.

Esgair Hir is offered for sale by private treaty as a whole. The vendors, and their agents, reserve the right to withdraw, amalgamate or divide any lots and vary the sale method/ process if required.

Directions (Please Refer To The Location Plan)

From Aberystwyth, take the A487 coastal trunk road south for approximately 3 miles to Llanfarian before turning left onto A485 Tregaron road. At Tregaron take the unclassfied mountain road towards Abergwesyn over the brow of the hill and down to the kiosk. Following the road to your right will lead to the Esgair Hir land denoted on your left hand side by a for sale board.

Esgair Hir amounts in total to 76.9 hectares (or 190.02 acres). This mountain is mainly clean and accessible abutting the council road on the western boundary The land rises from approximately 350 meters and 480 meters above sea level.
