PARTICULARS OF SALE
Seldom does an opportunity arise to acquire a large and highly productive parcel of land on the early growing coastal belt. Morfa Mawr is one of the best farms in the area and the sale of such a large part of Morfa will give prospective purchasers an opportunity to expand their existing farming enterprise or provide an opportunity for a discerning farmer to develop (together with Glannant) a stand alone farming unit.
Most of the land is easily accessible having been farmed on a rotational basis by Aberystwyth University for the production of grass, maize and arable crops, the land being well known and highly regarded within the area for its productive capacity because of its quality and fertility. The land also has potential for use as a mixed farm with beef/ sheep enterprises together with arable production. A noticeable feature of this parcel of land is the lack of waste/ rough land which accounts for little of the 240 acres which is on offer.
There is also an option to purchase a traditional farmhouse (Glannant), traditional outbuilding and paddock which is being marketed separately in order to acquire a standalone unit.
